The Raw Data
Symbiote Spider-Man has a +0.79 average cube rate at Rank 70 and above, sitting it comfortably at the top of Tier B on the Card Tier Rankings. The card's high winrate, 57.7%, demonstrates that while this card wins, it wins in a more telegraphed way than its similarly performing neighbors. Regardless, Symbiote Spider-Man is putting out solid metrics, even with its popularity hitting 32.5% since its release. For now, we'll be watching to see if these numbers increase as player experimentation wanes and its popularity begins to drop. Projections show Symbiote Spider-Man's stats should eventually settle and match the winrates and average cube rates of cards playing in a similar space, like the +1.06 average cube rate of Supergiant and the 58.1% winrate of Iron Lad.
Remember that these stats will settle over time and this early review consists of 24 hours of data. Be sure to revisit the card stats on our Card Tier List to see where Symbiote Spider-Man lands in terms of power level and popularity.
Symbiote Spider-Man’s Best Decks
With thousands of games already logged by the Untapped Companion at Rank 70 and above since Symbiote Spider-Man's release, we have good picture of which decks are working for the latest Season Pass card and which are not. Here are the best-performing options:
The standout amongst these decks is a deck that benefits from energy discounts and double up on its finishers: Sera Miracle reigns supreme with an incredible +1.39 average cube rate. The deck often plays cards likeMysterio, Sage and Hit-Monkey, which when combined with the titular card, allow you to play a high amount of cards in a single turn to surprise opponents. Don’t worry if you are missing any of the cards listed, you can always find a deck tailored to your collection on our Marvel SNAP Deckspage.
The other top performer is a variation of the popular Sandman Archetype, utilizing an established shell to create a doubled ability of one of its strong finishers. Setting up Symbiote Spider-Man for a future Doctor Doom is a great alternate line in case you don't draw Ultron or Patriot.
We also need to not only analyze Symbiote Spider-Man's individual power level, but also the archetypes utilizing the card best. If we look at the current Marvel SNAP meta, the Symbiote Spider-Man Archetype, a grouping of its most popular deck composition, is sitting in Tier C with a 57.2% winrate and +0.75 average cube rate using data since the card's release on September 3, 2024 at Rank 70 and above. The most popular deck, however, clocks a bit lower, at a flat 57.0% winrate and +0.74 cube rate.
