Grab your axe and get ready to jump into the mosh pit when Marvel SNAP's November War of the Nine Realms Season launches this month. If you're planning to pick up the new cards, you'll need our Spotlight Cache Schedule to budget your resources. Read below for the official Spotlight Cache Guide for November, including new cards, Spotlight variants and cards worth getting if you don’t have a complete collection.
When you draw this, copy the text from the bottom card of your opponent's deck.
The first Spotlight Cache week of the War of the Nine Realms Season offers a few building blocks for players looking to add options to their collection. Frigga's ability will fit well in Surfer Archetype and Mill Archetype, while Red Guardian and Copycat are solid additions to a number of decks. While Copycat has seen less and less play since its release, Red Guardian is a powerful tool to counter a number of meta decks and both still in Tier B on our Card Tier List.
This will be the first week of the November Marvel SNAP season, so in addition to the featured Spotlight Cache cards, players can get Surtur by buying the Season Pass. Surtur is 3-Cost, 5-Power card with ability: After you play a card with 10+ Power, this gains +3 Power. Check out the Developer update for more info on Surtur and the War of the Nine Realms Season.
After each turn, +3 Power if you played (exactly) 2 cards.
The second Spotlight Cache week features Malekith, an interesting deck-building card that at the very least, serves as a deck-thinner. Valentina and Thena join Malekith this week, and while Valentina may still be waiting for its time to shine, Thena is a great pickup for players who may have missed it first time around.
After you play a card, move there to gain +2 Power if it has an On Reveal.
The week of NOV 19 - OCT 26 features Fenris Wolf, our first new Activate card since the keyword's initial launch, which is shaping up to be a powerful Turn 6 combo with Shang-Chi. The new card is joined by Annihilus and Werewolf By Night - the latter having a minor resurgence in a few Bounce lists.
On Reveal: Replace each other location with this one.
Unfortunately, value wise, the final week of the War of the Nine Realms Season is the worst of the month. While Havok is interesting and Legion is a powerful card in its own right, they're both Series 4 cards - difficult cards to recommend spending keys on. Gorr is sure to be a powerful finisher, as decks are often made up of mostly On Reveal cards and Gorr gains power for both your and your opponent's cards in play.
