Credits are Marvel SNAP’s primary currency for progression. You can acquire them in a variety of ways, but the following are the recurring F2P ones:
Completing Daily Missions: You get Credits per mission refresh. Missions refresh once every 8 hours.
Daily Shop Claim: You can claim free credits every day.
Weekly Challenge: Doing 5+ missions in a week nets you credits from the Weekly Challenge rewards, up to 25 missions.
Ranked Rewards: You get a variety of credits each season for hitting Ranks 10, 30, 50, and 70.
Collection Track: There are both recurring Credit rewards on the CL track and in some Collector’s Caches & Reserves.
Conquest Rewards: The Conquest shop resets every season with a variety of Credit rewards that unlock on a week-by-week basis.
Bundles: High Currency Value Gold bundles typically provide a lot of Credits for the gold, see the Gold Optimization page for more details.
Season Pass: There are multiple Credit rewards on the Season Pass track levels 1-50.
Season Caches: There are small odds to get Credits in the Season Caches once you get past Season Pass level 50.
Weekend Challenge: A special set of missions, one of which rewards you with Credits every weekend.
Additionally, there are events in which the team gives out free credits (such as login rewards & Twitch Drops) as well as credits for completing portions of albums. Be sure to also pay attention to all in-game announcements, so as not to miss out on these opportunities.
It is also worth keeping an eye on the Marvel SNAP Web Shop, which will sometimes include additional free credits, among other resources.
For players that spend money, you can acquire additional credits through the season pass as well as various paid avenues in the shop.
Spending Credits Optimally
Bonus Boosters are efficient
Bonus Boosters (in the shop) allow you to upgrade a card without having enough boosters, at no additional cost to the player. While boosters are an easily farmable resource, this will reduce a little bit of the grind.
Upgrading Cards
You should always upgrade cards in the Bonus Booster shop when you want to upgrade a specific card to save on boosters. However, from a credit efficiency perspective, upgrading using Bonus Boosters versus in the Collection window is the same.
Upgrading cards generally costs 50 Credits per Collection Level (CL) the upgrade gets you (ex. Upgrading from Epic to Legendary gives you 6 CL and costs 300 Credits to do so). The exception to this is the upgrade from Common (White) to Uncommon (Green); it only costs 25 Credits/CL to perform this upgrade.
Additionally, once a card has been upgraded to Infinity, you are able to split the card, creating a new White border card with foil and particle effects.
Therefore, the most efficient way to use your credits is to upgrade every single card you have from White to Green border first to take advantage of the discounted Credits/CL rate, then take a single card from Green border to Infinite and split it, giving you another reduced rate card to split. However, this results in a 1-3% efficiency increase using your credits, so don’t sweat it too much.
